Voyeur House TV Review: Sexy ‘Real Life Cams’ From 40+ Residences

Published on:

One relatively niche sector of the online camming space is voyeur content. The concept is simple: singles, couples and groups live together in an apartment rigged with cameras, and people can tune in to watch whatever’s happening 24/7.

Voyeur House TV is one such platform that offers this type of setup. It has even declared itself as being the #1 free source for real-life adult cams. Do note that all people who appear on these streams know what’s going on – so it’s all above board and legal.

The website’s copy claims that you can watch streams for free with no registration – they’re being a little economical with the truth here. In our complete review, we’ll detail when and why you’d sign up.

Voyeur House TV Review: 24/7 Hidden Cam Streams

Voyeur House TV homepage

As soon as you land on the VHTV homepage (https://voyeur-house.tv), you’re presented with a live stream from one of their apartments. It would appear as if the platform automatically tracks where the action is and connects you with the right cam feed, likely showing you the best the platform offers.

We were surprised to see that even the free version of the platform will show you some nudity – often, residents on these voyeur cam platforms are instructed to keep anything X-rated for the paid subscribers. Voyeur House TV might be the best option in this niche if you’re on a budget.

Voyeur House TV launched in 2016 and currently operates just over 40 residences. This is quite a lot more than the two biggest competitors – Camarads and RealLifeCam. In fact, VHTV has more properties available than those two rivals combined! Houses tend to have around ten cameras, but the bigger properties can go up to 19.

Residents are often a guy and a girl living together, but we also found solo girls and throuples. Although sex isn’t 24/7, a few different time zones are here (almost all -5 to +7), and you will have a decent amount of content to sift through with the 24-hour loop recording feature.

Camera Details

Apartments typically have 10 to 15 cameras. These cover pretty much every room in the house – as well as multiple angles. If you want to make the most of your time here, you will want to pay for access to all of the cameras. These aren’t residence specific either: it covers every property.

Let’s explore a few different areas covered:

Bathroom

Bathroom scene on Voyeur House TV

Generally speaking, the bathroom cams only cover the showers or the baths. We did find one feed where half of the toilet was visible, but if you’re coming here to see everything – you might be slightly disappointed.

We appreciate that most folks won’t want number 1s and 2s live-streamed, but if it’s a deal breaker for you – sorry, VHTV does afford the residents a little privacy! Residents are encouraged to have fun in the showers and baths together: we actually found three streams with active naughtiness going on in the tub.

Bedroom

Live bedroom fucking on Voyeur House TV

It should come as little surprise that bedroom activity is quite frequent. We tuned into the above live performance between a couple and it went on for around 30 minutes before the guy eventually finished.

Note that Voyeur House TV continues to stream even when couples are sleeping – they’ll often do this naked. The cameras operate well at night, too, so it won’t be difficult for you to see what’s going on.

Kitchen

Random hidden house camera view

We figured it would be prudent to include moments on cam that aren’t sexy, such as when girls are cooking or tidying up the kitchen. The screenshot we captured above was actually a performer doing some home maintenance: that’s a glue gun she’s holding, not a dildo!

And it’s really important not to confuse the two. Day-to-day stuff still has to be done here at VHTV. We saw another girl cleaning the bathroom, but she did it wearing a thong – even the boring stuff can be sexy.

Camera Quality

Quality here did differ between locations; this is likely due to the bandwidth limits of some Internet connections. We care a lot about objective quality, and on the whole, we’d say that subjectively, VHTV is okay. We do like objective measurements though, so let’s take a look at what you get when it comes down to raw numbers.

Voyeur House TV stream quality

We tested 8 different cameras in 8 different houses: the above screenshot represents the average viewing experience. You’re getting 1080p, 1.5 Mb/s and 25 FPS.

These are pretty acceptable numbers, especially since the webcams used are quite high quality. Our biggest complaint is the audio quality: you’re looking at around 30 Kb/s on average, which is pretty pitiful. Most rival services are anywhere from 80 to 150 Kb/s – since audio bitrate requires barely any bandwidth, we’d like to see this increased.

Interactive Features

Unfortunately, no interactive sex toys can be activated here at Voyeur House TV – they’re keeping things very compartmentalized. You’re a voyeur; there’s no way to interact with the residents. There’s no chat box area either – something we would like to see added so that viewers can talk about what’s happening. VHTV does have a forum, though, and it’s incredibly active.

We’re not just talking about a few posts here; we’re talking a lot. The biggest thread was devoted to a girl called Jirina and the place she used to live. There have been 31,000 posts – all of which are about her.

Plenty of other threads have over 10,000 responses, too. Most of the content is people just sharing screenshots they’ve taken, often taking a humorous approach to discussing what’s going on.

24 Hour Replay Feature

Every camera feed in every apartment has a replay feature that allows you to go back up to 24 hours into the past. Alongside a simple timeline, you’ll also see a bar graph that tracks user activity – this is a simple way to find the hotspots so you know what moments are worth heading to.

Voyeur House TV 24 hour replay feature - pretty cool

The buffer bar to return through the replay is shown below each stream. Simply click on the time you want to check out and it’ll show you that exact moment. Real simple, real convenient. It also sticks to the original quality of the stream too!

Moments Archive

The team at VHTV has curated a collection of historic moments from their streams that you might want to check out. You have to pay to access these, but they’re all the same price – 10 coins. You can get a package of 130 coins for $15, so it works out at just over $1 per video. Some of them can go for many hours (if girls do a full show, for instance), so we’d argue it’s competitively priced.

We really like the fact that the videos are available for download too: you won’t just have to stream them from the site.

This is great, since your membership might expire, or the platform might go offline, or whatever else. Local storage of content will always be our preferred method of access, so the fact Voyeur House TV offers this as standard is pretty awesome in our books.

Download speeds were more than acceptable: we averaged around 7 MB/s.

Interface & Navigation

All interface features and elements were to our standards. The floorplans and camera angles feature is nice – similar to what RealLifeCams has, although if we’re being really picky, their aesthetic is slightly better. Take a look at the two in comparison. VHTV on the left, RLC on the right:

ReaLifeCam vs VHTV for navigation

It’s a minor aesthetic preference, but we think you’ll agree with us that the RLC approach is cleaner and easier on the eyes.

Loading speeds are good, switching between streams takes no time at all. There’s also a sidebar on the left that shows you the most active areas of various apartments. This makes it simple to find where the good stuff is going on.

The Mobile Experience

Accessing Voyeur House TV on a modern iPhone was convenient – the platform functioned almost identically to the desktop version. We appreciate true full-screen: something its closest rival, RealLifeCams, doesn’t offer on mobile devices. It was super convenient to go back in time on a stream, too: the activity timeline also appears on your phone.

Voyeur House TV Premium Subscription

There are two types of subscription at Voyeur House TV: standard and premium.

Standard unlocks all the cams only, whereas premium will give you the 24-hour replay buffer and the moments archive. We don’t think it makes much sense to gate the moments archive behind premium – but alas, they do it anyway. Since the cost of premium isn’t much more, we recommend you choose it.

Here are the payment plans offered:

  • $39.95 – 30 days
  • $95.95 – 90 days
  • $169.95 – 180 days
  • $299.95 – 365 days

If you just want access to the cams with a standard membership, you’ll have to pay $29.95 monthly.

Payment Methods

Most major credit and debit cards are accepted (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Discover and JCB). Voyeur House TV also accepts Bitcoin – they’ll even give you a 10% discount if you decide to pay with BTC.

In theory, we like the fact they accept cryptocurrency; it’s just that Bitcoin transfers are so expensive right now, the 10% discount is a little underwhelming. The average BTC transaction fee right now is around $12 – they really ought to offer other cryptocurrencies here, especially those that facilitate frictionless trade a little better, such as LTC, XRP and BNB.

How Will Voyeur House TV Purchases Appear on My Statement?

When we made a purchase, this is what our bank reported to us:

How our billing came through on Voyeur House TV (test purchase)

VHTV uses a third-party biller: in this instance, it’s Verotel. Googling the name of the company will give you thousands of generic results – they’re used by many online companies to process payments. As a result, we’re happy to describe Voyeur House TV’s billing as fully discreet.

Is There a Refund Policy?

We found the following in VHTV’s ToS:

Voyeur House TV refund policy

Rather generic, but if you’re unhappy with the service and have genuine issues – you might be able to haggle on a refund. Don’t hold your breath, though: they’re not obligated to refund you.

The Downsides of Voyeur House TV

So far, so good. Here are the biggest problems we encountered when using VHTV.

Inability To Upgrade Membership

This was really quite strange: if you opt for a standard membership, you’re unable to upgrade it to a premium membership until your standard membership runs out. We’re not sure why this is the case, and it’s obviously something they can fix – yeah. It’s quite rare that companies make it difficult for you to give them money, but VHTV found a way!

Lack of 4K Streaming

This wouldn’t be an issue – aside from the fact that the website did promise 4K in some of its literature. Several pages for advertising purposes use keywords such as 4K and 2160p – despite the highest format being 1080p. While we’re talking about quality, some rival services offer their HD streams with bitrates of 2.5 Mb/s – a small increase here at VHTV wouldn’t go unnoticed.

No 24-Hour Popular Scenes Area

In our review of Real Life Cams, we talked about a cool feature they had: popular scenes from the last 24 hours. This embed area at the bottom of their platform gives you instant access to highlights you might have missed over the last day.

Voyeur House TV is essentially the same platform, so we think they ought to add something like this themselves.

Our Verdict on Voyeur House TV

Voyeur House TV Review

We’ve compared Voyeur House TV to RealLifeCams quite a lot in this review – that’s because they’re very similar in what they have to offer.

Both come at similar prices (VHTV is slightly less expensive), but VHTV has many more apartments and performers. However, the quality here is slightly lower, and the popular scenes feature on RLC is really awesome.

Low-cost trials are available for both platforms, and truth be told: we think they’re both great if you want a voyeur cam experience. Since it costs next to nothing to try these places out – put them both through their paces and pick the one that you find the most enjoyment from. It’s hard to go wrong with either.
